A Little About Me
Alix Turk is the goldsmith behind Ridgetop Jewellery, a small studio practice rooted in traditional fabrication techniques and inspired by the landscapes of the Canadian Rockies.
Drawn to making from an early age, Alix began creating jewellery from found materials long before formally studying goldsmithing. In 2026, she completed the Jewellery Methods Program at George Brown College, graduating with both the Signet Award for goldsmithing skills and the Reza Gem Collection Award for work with coloured gemstones.

Working primarily in precious metals and stone, her pieces balance refinement with a sense of wearability and connection to place. Texture, form, and process play a central role in the work, with each piece fabricated by hand in small runs or as one-of-a-kind objects.

At the core of Ridgetop Jewellery is a commitment to continual learning, thoughtful craftsmanship, and creating pieces meant to be lived in and carried through everyday adventure.
